Dr. Sergey Shevkoplyas has been named a Moores Professor at the University of Houston.
The Moores Professorship is one of the highest honors awarded at UH, recognizing tenured full professors who have demonstrated outstanding excellence in research, teaching, and service — with distinction at the national and international level. It is a true testament to Dr. Shevkoplyas' extraordinary contributions to biomedical engineering and his lasting impact on our students, our department, and the broader scientific community.
