Crosslee is currently a Research Assistant Professor in Dr. Chandra Mohan's Biomedical Engineering Lab, conducting high throughput spatial OMICs based screens to uncover the molecular signature of autoimmunity. He received his Ph.D. In Molecular and Cell Biology from University of Texas, Dallas in 2017.
Crosslee’s research focuses on integrating multiOMICs (proteomics, transcriptomics and metabolomics) analysis of biopsy tissues to better understand the spatial distribution of molecular networks and the cell-cell communications underlying disease pathology. These studies can not only uncover novel biomarkers for diagnostics with high sensitivity and specificity but can also be investigated for their pathogenicity and role in disease progression and serve as therapeutic targets for the development of next generation of targeted therapeutics
