Over 100 engineers took the Obligation and received their rings in a momentous ceremony that marks not just the end of their academic journey, but the beginning of a lifelong commitment to integrity, ethics, and responsible engineering practice.
The Order of the Engineer is a meaningful tradition, and we are thrilled that our students are among the first to be part of this founding chapter at UH. Wearing that ring is a reminder that engineering is about more than what we build — it's about the responsibility we carry in how our work impacts others and the world around us.
Congratulations to all of our graduating seniors. We could not be prouder of everything you have accomplished, and we cannot wait to see the difference you will make. The future of biomedical engineering is in great hands!
This tradition was established by Luciana Aguirre, Alma Gallardo, and Evin Linos, who worked hard to build it from the ground up so it will become an official and lasting tradition at UH. A special shout-out to Dr. Tina Kazemi and all the volunteers who helped bring this incredible event to life.
