Valor Thomas is a commercial executive with over 17 years of experience driving growth, strategic expansion, and partnership development within highly regulated, engineering-driven industries. He currently serves as Business Development Director at Elevaris Medical Devices, a precision MedTech CDMO focused on advanced components and subassemblies for MedTech applications. In this role, he holds revenue responsibility and leads strategic partnership development across key markets including robotic-assisted surgery, interventional cardiology, structural heart, neurovascular, pain management, and drug delivery. He is responsible for commercial strategy development, and supporting M&A initiatives, with a focus on translating technical capability into sustained commercial growth.
Prior to joining Elevaris, Mr. Thomas spent 14 years at Millar, a MedTech CDMO specializing in sensor integration technologies, where he served as Director of Business Development. He held P&L responsibility for the CDMO division and led the ground-up development of a project pipeline exceeding $100 million. During his tenure, he built and managed long-term OEM partnerships, expanded the company’s strategic account base, and positioned the organization for scalable growth within regulated medical device markets. His work centered on aligning engineering capabilities with customer clinical needs, enabling high-value program capture and durable revenue streams.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Thomas spent three years in the oil and gas sector, where he managed commercial strategy and market expansion initiatives. This cross-industry experience provided a foundation in market analysis, strategic account management, and growth execution within technically complex environments.
Mr. Thomas holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Houston. He is recognized for building high-value pipelines by translating complex technical platforms into commercial wins within mission-critical and regulated markets.
