"I am a PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Houston, working in Nordin's Lab. I'm passionate about Neuroscience and Neural Engineering. The brain is endlessly fascinating to study, and that's what drew me to research the neural control of visually guided locomotion. I use high-density mobile EEG and EMG, combined with computational neuroscience and signal processing methods, to study how the brain and body coordinate during walking and obstacle navigation in real-world and virtual environments, with the goal of improving neurorehabilitation strategies."
