"My research focuses on developing engineered cardiac tissue and heart-on-chip models to study congenital heart block (CHB), an autoimmune-mediated fetal heart disease. I investigate how maternal autoantibodies and serum factors contribute to endothelial dysfunction, fibrosis, and cardiac remodeling using advanced multicellular in vitro platforms. The goal is to better understand the mechanisms driving CHB and identify potential targets for early diagnosis and intervention."
