"Nicole Williamson-Scott earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Houston. A Texas native, she chose to continue her education at the University of Houston, influenced by her father’s education at UH and his career as a teacher, which fostered an early appreciation for learning and mentorship. She is currently enrolled in the Accelerated Master’s Program in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Houston. As she completes her Master’s degree, she continues to develop as a researcher by strengthening her analytical and experimental skill set, with current research focused on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) technology. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. and ultimately lead an independent research laboratory, where she hopes to mentor students and advance diagnostic innovation, with a particular emphasis on metabolic disease research."
