Abstract
Prof. Mary-Ann Mycek's research program in biomedical photonics involves developing and applying methods of optical science and engineering to probe and quantify the living systems found in biology and medicine. This presentation will describe a multidisciplinary, translational research project employing clinical optical diagnostic technologies and computational modeling of light propagation in human tissues for improved detection of pancreatic disease.
